  • Civil War Soliders and Sailors System. The CWSS is a comprehensive tool for researching the records of men who served in the War Between the States. This huge computerized database is a cooperative effort by the National Park Service and several other public and private partmers.
  • Sixteenth South Carolina. This excellent site contains much information not only on the Sixteenth South Carolina but many other upstate Confederate resources.

  • South Carolina Department of Archives and History. One of the best sources for researching the men of Company B is the South Carolina Department of Archives and History.
  • Pickens County Library. The Pickens County Library has a great genealogy section for researching the men of Company B.
  • Greenville, South Carolina Main Library. The Greenville Library has Confederate records on microfilm as well as one of the best genealogy sections of any library in the area.
