- Civil War Soliders and Sailors System. The CWSS is a comprehensive tool for researching the records of men who served in the War Between the States. This huge computerized database is a cooperative effort by the National Park Service and several other public and private partmers.
- Sixteenth South Carolina. This excellent site contains much information not only on the Sixteenth South Carolina but many other upstate Confederate resources.

- Old Pendleton District Database. Most of the men of Company B have made it into the huge genealogy database of the Old Pendleton District Chapter of the South Carolina Genealogical Society.
- Pickens County US Genweb Project. The official Website of the Pickens County US Genweb Project contains many resources for researching the men of Company B.

- Greenville, South Carolina Main Library. The Greenville Library has Confederate records on microfilm as well as one of the best genealogy sections of any library in the area.

- Pickens County Museum, Pickens, South Carolina. "Must see" sites on your visit to Pickens County are the Pickens County Museum and the Hagood Mill historic site. Veterans of Company B would recognize the museum building as the old Pickens County "Gaol" (jail.)
